Short version. This site is free and has no ads. It stores the little it needs to remember where you got to in the lessons. It does not sell anything about you, because there is nothing to sell and no one to sell it to.
What is stored
- Your name, so lessons can greet you.
- Your sign-in email, so you can come back to the same progress.
- Your lesson progress: which scenes you finished, which sentences you answered, and which words you have seen.
- Basic server logs (page, time, error messages) kept for a short while so I can fix things.
What is not stored
No payment details, because nothing is ever charged. No advertising trackers. No third-party analytics pixels following you around the web. No microphone recordings - the audio here plays out, it does not listen in.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. Your browser also stores your light or dark preference locally. That is the lot.
Who else sees it
Nobody buys it and nobody rents it. The site runs on a rented server and uses a sign-in provider and a text-to-speech service to make the audio - those companies process the data needed to do their job, and nothing more.
Deleting your data
Email me and your account and progress get deleted. No retention call, no form.
Children
The lessons are fine for kids, but an account should be made by a parent if the learner is under 13.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
